Her Story
Angela grew up in Eton Wick, Berkshire, where she and her family still own and run a livery yard. She developed an interest in Bowen after having her horse Rubin treated for anxiety, and the therapist offered to treat Angela's back as she was suffering from her discs crushing and pinching the nerve in her back. The course of treatment reversed the damage, and Angela avoided a complicated and risky operation.
Angela is an experienced horsewoman, having been a dressage rider and competition groom, supporting for Micheal Klimke, Fiona Bigwood, and travelling to the World Games with Laura Richardson.
She has a genuine love of horses, and a passion for training and helping both horses and riders perform at their best. Angela believes that treating both the horse and rider in tandem produces the best results as often an imbalance in one side of the partnership will contribute to problems in the other half of the combination. She trained at The European School of Equine Bowen Therapy.
